A Mother’s Need For Wisdom

(This is something the Lord showed me one morning during my devotions, I saved it in Microsoft Word and am sharing it with you today)
Proverbs 14:1 "Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."
James 3:17 "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy."
Romans 6:17 "But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctorine which was delivered you."

Wisdom from above which can build my house is:
Pure: clean heart
Peaceable: adaptable
Gentle: kind
Easy to be intreated: easily asked (approachable)
Full of mercy: forgiving
Good fruits: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, meekness, faith
Without partiality: fair
Without hypocrisy: true, sincere, real

A mother who wants to build her house, needs wisdom.
We can choose the wisdom of this world or the wisdom of God; from above. Only the wisdom from above will help the house to be built for, the wisdom of this world will pluck it down.
What an encouragement it is to know that God’s yolk is easy, lighter than that of the world.
Finally, we take what we know from our heads and apply it to our hearts, so there will a lasting change. We know God is the only one who can change our hearts (which are desperately wicked), not in the weakness of our flesh
