The spider's web foundation

Shall we continue with our study of spiders?
"During the process of making an orb web, the spider will use (1) its own body for measurements.
Many webs span gaps between objects which the spider could not cross by crawling. This is done by letting out a first fine adhesive thread to drift on the faintest breeze across a gap. When it sticks to a suitable surface at the far end, the spider will carefully walk along it and it and strengthen it with a second thread. (2)This process is repeated until the thread is strong enough to support the rest of the web."
1.Our spiritual growth will decide how much we do for God.
2.We need to be honest with ourselves, know ourselves and God, to better build our homes and do the work of God.
(1)After strengthening the first thread, the spider (2)will continue to make a y-shaped netting. The first three radials of the web are now constructed. More radials are added, making sure that the distance between each radial is small enough to cross. This means that (3) the number of radials in a web directly depends on the size of the spider as the size of the web.
1.Our relationship with God needs to be strong so we can build upon this foundation. Ephesians 2:20, "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;"
2.We need to be growing continually.
3.What we do for God, in our life, will be dependant on the strength of our relationship with God and our knowledge of His Word (the bible) and knowledge of the ensample of the people God used and did not use.
After the radials are complete, the spider will(1) fortify the center of the web with about (2)5 circular threads. Then a spiral of non-sticky, widely spaced threads are made for the spider to easily move around its own web during construction,(3) working from the inside out. Then, Beginning from the outside in, the spider will methodically replace this spiral with another, more closely spaced one of adhesive threads. It will utilize the initial radiating lines as well as the non-sticky spirals as guide lines. The spaces between each spiral will be directly proportional to the distance from the tip of its back legs to its spinners. This is one way the spider will use its own body as a measuring/spacing device.(4) While the sticky spirals are formed, the non adhesive spirals are removed as there is no need for them anymore.
1.We must strengthen what should be the center of our life; our relationship with God.
2.The trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit) plus your husband and you make 5. huh! Need I say more?
3.We can't expect to do great things for God if we work on the outside issues of ourselves. The Holy Spirit must build us from the inside out. When we see, on the outside, the changes He has done from the inside, we will want to see more building of character in ourselves.
4.Hebrews 12:1, "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"
Last time I was shown that I need to take care of the body God gave me; nourishing it well, getting the sleep I need and being aware of the the red flags it gives me when I've neglected it. Our family needs us to be healthy and strong.
Today I saw that, like the spider, I need to fortify the center of my web which will influence other people for Christ. The center of that web is my relationship with Christ. As I strengthen it, my influence will be greater. This is a continual work.
